1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Univia ("the Wallet"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Non-Custodial Service

Univia is a non-custodial wallet software. This means:

  • You are in full control: We do not have access to your private keys, passwords, or recovery phrases.
  • You are responsible: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials. If you lose your recovery phrase, you lose access to your funds. We cannot recover them for you.
  • No Intermediary: Transactions happen directly on the blockchain. We cannot reverse, cancel, or modify transactions once they are broadcast.

3. Risks of Crypto Assets

By using Univia, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, including but not limited to:

  • Volatility: The value of assets can fluctuate significantly.
  • Technical Risks: Software bugs, blockchain network failures, or 51% attacks.
  • Regulatory Uncertainty: Changes in laws and regulations may impact your ability to use the software.

4. Prohibited Compliance

You agree not to use Univia for any illegal activities, including money laundering, financing terrorism, or engaging in sanctioned activities. You represent that you are not a sanctioned individual or entity.

5. Intellectual Property

The Univia software and all related content (excluding user content) are the property of Univia and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Univia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the wallet, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or profits.

7. "As Is" Service

The software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Univia operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
